In the Name of God Amen I Thomas Heale the younger of the Parish of Buckland Dinham in the County of Somerset Cloathier being sick and weak of bodie but of sound and perfect mynd and memorie Thanks be given therefore to Almigthie God doe make and ordaine this my last will & Testament in manner and forme following (that is to say) First and principally I bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almigthie God hoping that through—– —– Death and Passion of Jesus Christ my onely Saviour and Redeemer forec—– full and free Pardon for all my Synns and to impart? everlasting life and my bodie I committ to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named; And concerning? the disposition of all such temporal estate as —–pleased God to bestowe upon mee I give and dispose the —– as —–: First I will that my debts and funerall charges shall be payd and discharged. Item I give unto Thomas Heale my Father one hundred pounds of current English money, to be payd at or before Our Ladie-day? next ensuring the date thereof: Item I give unto my Brother in Law Thomas Sage and to his foure Sonns —– pence apiece to be payd in a months time after my decease Item I give unto Thomas Ames? and his Sonn Thomas one shilling apeece. Item I give to my Sister Elizabeth one shilling. Item all the rest and residue to my personal estate and Goods whatsoever I doe give and bequeath unto my loving wife Dorothy and doe make her full and sole Executrix of this my last will and Testament And I doe hereby revoke disannull and make void all former wills and testaments by mee heretofore made. In witness whereof I the said Thomas Heale to this my last will & Testament doe set my hand and Seale the twentie fifth day of September in the Thirtiethird year of the reigne of Our most Sovereigne Lord Charles the Second by the Grace of God of England Scotland France and Ireland King Defender of the Faith…One thousand one hundred eightie one. Thos. Heale. I doe appoint mr. Thomas Bridges of Leigh Mr. Henry Cornish of London and Mr. Leonard Whitchurch of Froome to be my Overseers and doe give them five shillings apece to buy them gloves.
