Having reserved to myself before my marriage liberty to give and dispose of L500 by my will (with consent of my husband), I give to my loving uncle Heale L5. To Elizabeth Heale daughter of Thomas Heale of Buckland aforesaid L5? To Thomas son of Thomas Sage of Bradfords bridge in Froome Selwood, cloth worker, L25 when he is 21. To Mary Sage one of daughters of said Thomas Sage the elder L25 at 21. To Sarah Sage another daughter of said Thomas Sage the elder L50 at 21. To Katherine Raynes daughter of William Raynes of Leigh upon Mendip L10. Residue of the L500 to my husband Edward, executor. Signature and seal (chevron with 3 hands between 3 scallops?).
Witnesses: William Wilkins, Elizabeth Morres, James Berkley.
Proved 17 May 1606 (1686) by the oath of Edward Whitechurch, husband and executor. Bond of Edward Whitechurch of Buckland Dinham, gent. and John Clarke of same, yeoman in L1000. 17 May 1606 (1686). Condition that Edward, husband and executor of Dorothy Whitechurch shall justify the inventory etc.
