I Ann Whitchurch of West Town in the Parish of Backwell in the County of Somerset Widow Do make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) I give and bequeath unto each of my Sons Joseph, George and Leonard the Sum of Thirty five pounds being so much belonging to them and received by me from the sale of an Allotment of Leasehold Land on Backwell hill And all the rest and residue of my Monies securities for money Goods Chattles and Personal Estate and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath to my Daughters Mary, Ann, Jane and Amy equally to be divided share and share alike And I hereby appoint my Daughter Mary sole Executrix of this my Will In Witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this twenty seventh day of February in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred and eleven —–Ann Whitchurch (Seal) —– Signed Sealed Published and declared by the Testatrix Ann Whitchurch as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us who in her presence at her request and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as Witnesses hereto —– Saml.
